NEXT 75 BIRD SHOOT OVER 11 STANDS
Sunday 23 FEB 2025
What on earth is happening to our British weather, Never seems to stop either raining or being windy, but you shooters are hardy bunch and even though the weather wasn’t at its best the shoot numbers seemed to be once again good with shoot numbers around the 150 mark. So a huge thank you to everyone who came and shot Darley Dale Shoot on Sunday 9 Feb. As you may have seen, we’ve tried to patch up the road leading into the ground. Thank you to our land owner who kindly help supply us with the stone and with the support from a local company with the use of their JCB digger we managed to fill in quite a lot of the holes, enough for us to be able to travel safely onto the ground. We hope that during the Summer we will continue to work on getting the roadway repaired, making the road much easier on your car suspensions. Thank you to Spencer Brothers 1903 Ltd of Brassington for their support.
Its not going to be to long now until the Summer months are back again, and we can start to shoot in different directions and get to areas of the ground that we’ve not been able to get to because of the wet weather.
So without delay, let’s get our names down for the next 75 Bird Shoot at Darley Dale Clay Pigeon Shooting Club, Bookings are NOW open. head over to our website at
www.ddcpsc.org.uk and follow the link (Book Here) from our main website page. If you dont fancy booking yourself in, contact Pete Gailey who will be happy to take your bookings over the phone Tel: 07706414014. Remember that Pete does work during the working week so if you want to book in through Pete ring him after he’s finished his work.
Just one last thing to mention, there are one or two of you still travelling far to fast down the road, we have shooters all wondering around the ground and it will obviously help prolong the life of the road if you keep down your speed for us.
Cheers for now and I’ll look forward to seeing you all on the 23 Feb.
