Old Glossop Shooting Ground

At Old Glossop Clay Shooting Ground we aim to showcase the best in English Sporting Clay Shooting. Set in the beautiful scenery of the Peak District yet only 15 miles from Manchester city centre and 25 miles from Sheffield. The ground has a long history of shooting sports, since World War 2 it has been used for rifle shooting, game shooting & clay shooting, the latter being known as Charlesworth Shooting Ground for many years.

We run 100 bird CPSA registered sporting competitions on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of every month, with excellent cash payouts and experienced referees on every stand. We also host Simulated Game Days throughout the year including bespoke days tailored for you.
